Everybody knows that for new products, “Time to Market” is very
important and often crucial for their success. With this in mind ADSO developed the “RAPID SERVICE”
application tool.
Our Rapid Service consists of 4 different services: Rapid Tooling, ICC Tooling, Soft Tooling and Rapid
Manufacturing.
RAPID TOOLING
For this service we use additive manufactured (3D-printed) cavity tool parts. With these high-quality
printed tools, we can manufacture up to 100 injection molded products within a lead time of 10
days. The
number of parts that can be manufactured, strongly depends on the complexity of the product and the choice
of the injection molding material. The materials that we can offer are: PP, PE, ABS, PS and several
elastomers.
ICC TOOLING
To keep the investment costs low for our customers, we often use Interchangeable Core & Cavity Tools.
With
this process we use soft steel cores that fit into our cavity mold. These cores can be provided in three
sizes, Small – Medium – Large. With these high-quality tools, we can deliver the first products within a
lead time of 20 days. We can produce an average of 2.500 pieces.
SOFT TOOLING
When working with SOFT Tools, we can use any kind of technical plastic injection material. Also,
multiple
materials are possible, for example seals or valve seals. For these tools we can manufacture an average of
10.000 pieces and deliver the first parts within 25 working days. When the samples are
approved by our
customers, we can immediately start with a small production run, without losing any precious time. At the
same time, it is already possible to start up the manufacturing of any production tools.
RAPID MANUFACTURING
For RAPID MANUFACTURING we rely on CNC High precision turning and milling machines. Materials such as
Stainless Steel 316L, Aluminium,… are very common to us. They can be delivered with a wide range of
different surface finishes. Also sheet metal parts and small constructions are possible.
